The Brazilian Institute of Consumer Defence has launched a campaign on salt awareness as part of the World Consumer Rights Day 2015 activities.

The institute has launched a website as part of the campaign, titled ‘The Sodium You Do Not See’. The website will provide information about organic traders and produce. The campaign also involves outreach initiatives through the social media and various events.

Other activities connected with World Consumer Rights Day include online debates on ‘The Influence of Media and Marketing on Food Choices’ and ‘Food Labelling – What does Brazil Need to Improve?”
