V C Os Quarterly Grievances Redressal Meeting at Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Ltd held on 16.12.2016

Metropolitan Transport Corporation MTC conducted Quarterly Grievances Redressal Meeting at Pallavan House on 16.12.2016. M.Somasundaram, Liaison Officer participated in the meeting on behalf of CAI and Concert Trust.

At the outset, CAI thanked the MTC for the participation of MTC officials on 18.9.16 at Consumers Grievances Redressal Day and for having resolved the complaints brought by the consumers to the MTC Stall.

Following points were taken up with MTC for sorting out the problems

1. Proper arrangements have to be made for the Senior Citizens by opening extra counters while issuing free passes to them. MTC agreed to open extra counters.

2. Install POS machines in all the depots to facilitate the commuters to get their Monthly Passes , Daily Passes and Season Tickets by swiping their Credit/ Debit cards

3. Maintenance and Cleanliness of buses is lacking
