A three day National Street Food Festival was organized by National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) in association with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, the one-of-its-kind festival aims to bring various authentic street food cuisines across India right under one roof between December 23 to 25th December

Currently, in its 8th edition, this year, NASVI and FSSAI together attempted to reinstate the rich tradition of Indian street food by getting inspiration from various food vendors across the country to help citizens closely experience the real and authentic taste of street food in our country.

With over one hundred and forty street food stalls, the festival promises a fun-filled weekend of traditional cuisines and interactive food experiences as well as the live appearances from the famous Indian Ocean band, Master Chefs and local music groups. Street chefs from India will provide the perfect gastronomical experience in National Street Food Festival. These carefully selected items in the menu will reveal the diverse range of culinary delights available at roadside and alleys as well as local lanes in every village and city across the country.

With several key initiatives including [email protected] degree framework and Food Fortification, FSSAI is aiming to further strengthen its outreach efforts with several other organisations including educational institutions/ colleges/ associations and other strategic national level partners.
